Activities on board

During your cruise you will be able to enjoy traditional Russian concerts, given by our ship's musicians. As well as chess sets and cards being available, you will be able to enjoy live music in the bar.

Baggage

Passengers will be provided with baggage labels. Porters will see your baggage to the correct cabin.

Laundry Service

Your cabin attendant will be pleased to do your laundry within 24-28 hours. You will find the price list in your cabin.

Drinks

A wide range of drinks is offered in the restaurants and bars. Payment should be made in rubles, or by credit card.

Gift shop

On the two ships, you will find a range of Matrioshka dolls, hand-painted lacquer boxes, as well as amber and silver jewelry.

Credit Cards

can be accepted on board. You will be able to change money on the day after your arrival, and we advise you to bring some cash dollars or euro in small denominations. Travelers Checks can not be accepted on board.

Cabin key

Please make sure you leave you key at reception every time you leave the boat.

Air-condition and Heating systems

Two settings are available. The upper button regulates air flow whilst the lower serves to choose the temperature.

Welcome cocktail

The welcome drink will be offered during the first few days of your cruise.

Mail

You can buy post and stamps at the ship's shop. This is a mail box at reception. Your letters and post-cards will only be sent from St Petersburg and Moscow.

Russian language classes and seminars

Your guides provide Russian lessons and seminars throughout the cruise. The main themes of these discussions are topics such as Russian Art, the Russian Way of Life and Russian Customs and People.

Drinking water

The water in your cabin is not drinking water. Two hot and cold water dispensers are available on board, one near reception, and the other in the restaurant. At meals water will be served at your table in carafes.

Cabin service

Your toiletry will be changed daily.
Your linen will be changed every three days. Cabins are cleaned daily.

Excursions

The excursions program will be announced every day and is posted on the notice board.

Passport and Visas

Your visas are collected at reception on arrival on board to be stamped and registered, and are returned at the end of the cruise. Please write down your cabin number on your documents before handing them at reception.

Money

The current ruble/dollar/euro rate will be displayed daily.

Radio

There is a radio in your cabin that plays music. The volume may be set as desired or switched off.

Gratuities

We recommend a sum of ˆ 35 per passenger to be reserved as gratuities for the crew and guides. This will be collected at the end of the cruise.

Health

The ship has a limited supply of common medicines, so you should ensure that any regular medication is taken with you. There is a doctor on board.

Telephone

There is a phone on a board and you can buy telephone cards on Reception.
